Going out in Central Florida can be difficult because there are so many options to choose from, you can run out of time to experience them all. No matter what kind of music or activity you like, the Central Florida area offers something for you, and more new clubs and bars are opening every year. If you have just moved to the area, or want to check out the local scene before you move, here are some of the best night spots to kick up your heels and have a good time.

Destinations for Dancing

Many of the most popular clubs in Orlando are located on International Drive, but they definitely aren’t just for tourists. Locals have been known to pack Mango’s, a new club with origins in South Beach, Miami. The three story mega entertainment destination is open for dinner and live entertainment, which includes live music, singing and Latin dancers. At night, locals take over the dance floor and a DJ spins music until 2 AM.  Mango’s has several different rooms within the main club, each with its own DJ and music, so you can simply move if you don’t like the music or atmosphere in one.

Shows That Will Keep You Entertained

Orlando offers world class entertainment, including long running acts Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group. But if you’ve already been to those shows and are looking to try something different, there are many newer shows you can try. Drip is an innovative new show that combines painting, dance and live music to express the highs and lows of falling in love. Dancers move expressively around the space, letting paint flow freely as the spirit moves them. Audience members do get messy, and are advised to wear clothes that can get paint on them. You may want to wear earplugs inside the show space, especially if you are seated close to the band.

Theme Parks and More

With so many visitors each year, the theme parks are always trying to change things and keep different portions of the park interesting, and this year is Disney’s turn to unveil some new things. The area once known as Downtown Disney has been renovated and reopened as Disney Springs, with a few interesting spots to check out after dark. The House of Blues has reopened and will continue to feature local bands as well as international chart toppers. Down the boardwalk, Paradiso 37 will be a great spot to drink a wide variety of tequilas and listen to Latin music.

Living in the Orlando area can be a lot of fun, with plenty of great places to listen to live music, enjoy drinks with family and friends, or just experience something new. If you’re ready to purchase a home in the Orlando region, the Core Group can help. Click here to contact us.
