Coffee… dark, bold, sweet… however you take it, coffee is often the juice that powers our busiest days. A great coffee spot also offers a chance to unwind with a good book or meet with friends. Central Florida has many must-visit coffee shop corners aside from Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts. Here are a few we love:

Downtown Credo

With three locations located in and around Downtown Orlando, Downtown CREDO offers a friendly environment and a broad range of direct trade, locally roasted coffee beverages. Downtown CREDO also operates as a non-profit with proceeds going to local community outreach in Orlando. There are no set prices at this coffee shop, as customers are asked to donate according to their conscience. They feature art from local artists at their College Park and Florida Hospital locations and offer up their space for rent, just in case you’re looking for a venue for your next office meeting, bridal shower, or birthday party.

Lineage Craft Coffee Roasters

Located in Audubon Park’s East End Market, Lineage is a small coffee bar offering big coffee flavor. They pride themselves in offering ethically sourced, limited runs of craft coffee beans, with unique and wide ranging flavor profiles. Their space is every bit as aesthetically pleasing as their coffee is delicious. Their staff is well trained and extremely knowledgable on the subject of coffee – so don’t be afraid to ask. The espresso beverages at Lineage are top notch – but their pour overs is where the flavor really shines. Although if you’re looking for a cool, sweet treat on a hot Florida day, try their White Cold Brew in a bottle. It’s a customer favorite and it does not disappoint.
